Dr. Michelle Dickler grew up in the metro Atlanta area and graduated from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she worked as an associate veterinarian in Suwanee, GA, for two years before purchasing a small animal veterinary hospital in Snellville, GA. She owned and operated that practice for 14 years before selling it in preparation for her move to the Lowcountry. She worked as a relief veterinarian for several years while her son finished high school, then relocated to Hilton Head Island to join the team at Buckwalter Veterinary Clinic. Recently, Dr. Dickler moved to Summerville to be closer to family and is excited to begin her work at College Park Road Veterinary Clinic. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, she has a special passion for feline and internal medicine.
Dr. Dickler resides in Summerville with her husband, Lyle, a part-time consultant. She is the proud mother of Matthew, a middle school band director who also lives in Summerville. Her family includes three rescue pets: two dogs, Faora and Mala, and a cat named Henry. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys Peloton, outdoor bicycling, swimming, boating, and traveling.
