With nearly two decades of experience in small animal medicine, Dr. Jon Caughey is dedicated to helping pets live healthier, happier lives through compassionate, personalized veterinary care. Since earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and completing his clinical training at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Caughey has developed extensive expertise in wellness care, soft tissue surgery, and animal behavior.
Dr. Caughey believes that exceptional veterinary medicine begins with strong relationships. He enjoys partnering with pet owners to create individualized healthcare plans that support pets through every stage of life, from preventive wellness visits to surgical procedures and behavioral guidance. His approach combines medical excellence with practical education, helping families make informed decisions about their pets' health and well-being.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Caughey shares his life with his wife, who is also a veterinarian, their active teenage son, and Brisket, their beloved Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler mix. When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys scuba diving, watching sports, and serving as a soccer referee in his local community.
